St Regis Dubai
Set to open in late 2015, the St. Regis Dubai is a new contender in the UAE’s busy luxury hotel market and it’s already packing one hell of a punch.
The hotel will be located on the Sheikh Zayed road and offers a glittering Beaux Arts inspired retreat for shopping enthusiasts and business types, but being a St. Regis property, and what’s more, one located in Dubai, it’s much more than that.
The 5 storey resort borrows heavily from the chain’s American roots and will feature a full blown Las Vegas style theater and interiors that promise to be a jaw dropping throwback to New York’s Gilded Age. The resort will also house multiple gardens, one of which will include mosaic musical notes and a musical fountain as a centerpiece… definitely intriguing and exciting stuff. Add to that, 182 guest rooms, 51 signature suites and a grandiose spa and you’ve got yourself one of the most exciting St. Regis hotels to date…. did we mention that there’s personal butlers too?
Mandapa, a Ritz Carlton Reserve
Don’t be fooled by the serenity of the Ubud, there’s a tough luxury hotel war about to be faced on the banks of the river when the Mandapa, a Ritz Carlton Reserve opens on August 28th this year. But when you’ll be coddled in your villa and watching the sun set from the warm waters of your private pool, you’ll hardly care about that will you?
The Ritz-Carlton Macau
There’s a ton of things to see in Macau, but if you’re staying at the Ritz-Carlton, you might not get a glimpse of the city at all!
Located in Galaxy Macau, a super complex replete with entertainment, dining and shopping options, you don’t really have to leave the confines of the resort for a well spent holiday. World class shopping, a 3D cineplex and a waterpark, it’s all here. But if you want to head out, you’re only 20 minutes away from the city’s attractions including the UNESCO World Heritage Historic Centre.
The Ritz Carlton hotel promises to be the brand’s first “suite only” hotel, and to make things better, there’s a whopping 254 of them to choose from. Located on the higher levels of the Galaxy Macau, the views from the hotel rooms are absolutely gorgeous and the Lai Heen combines the amazing vista with some top notch Cantonese cuisine.
Mandarin Oriental Marrakech
With the Atlas mountains as a backdrop, you know that the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech has already got the “jaw dropping view” check box ticked.
The hotel’s 54 villas all come with private gardens, hot pools and outdoor bathtubs and showers, and the suites, offer rooftop plunge pools with the Atlas as a backdrop. You could easily have the perfect exotic getaway without leaving your private space, but if you would like to tee off, the hotel offers access to premium golf clubs, some of which are only five minutes away.
