Months after his appointment as Executive Chef of the Four Seasons George V’s Le Cinq restaurant and after earning his fifth Gault & Millau Toque, the Briton Chef wasted no time in adding not one, but two more awards to his brimming trophy cabinet: three Michelin stars for Le Cinq, and Le Chef magazine’s Chef of the Year award. Definitely a winning career move.
Michelin Stars are what aspiring Chef’s dream of. But the Chef of the Year, the only peer recognized award in the industry, is a particular brand of prestige.
After all, the awardee is chosen by a panel of 6000 Chefs; the very people who know the talent and dedication it takes to strap on an apron and perform day in day out in the very best restaurants in Paris.
In other news, prestigious French publication, the Guide Champérard, awarded the Four Seasons George V the title of Hotel of the Year. Chosen by founder Marc Champérard, the award recognizes the Four Seasons hotel’s refined and contemporary décor, exceptional personalized service, and incredible gastronomical cuisine.
