Work day dragging on too much? Well we’ve concocted a list of some of the best hotel suites in our collection to brighten up your day. You can thank us in the comment box below. Enjoy!
The Four Seasons Hotel George V Penthouse Suite makes it on our list for its stunning design and the novelty of playing spot the Parisian landmark from its private terraces.
The Eiffel Tower, the rooftops of the Panthéon, the Sacré Coeur Basillica… basically every monument in a tourist brochure can be seen while still in your bathrobes and sipping on your morning coffee.
What’s inside is just as breathtaking. The suite’s interiors come courtesy of superstar designer Pierre-Yves Rochon whose work blends Second Empire furniture and Baccarat crystal glassware with plasma screens and infinity bathtubs as though they were always meant to go together. The hotel’s Artistic Director, Jeff Leatham, adds an exquisite floral decoration to the decor for the cherry on one over indulgent and delicious cake.
Luxury hotels in Abu Dhabi inspire a deserved degree of awe, so when we say that the suites at the St.Regis Abu Dhabi are the best out there, it’s no small thing. Nestled in the Nation Towers and perched at a dominating 200 m above ground level, the suites here are considered some of the highest in the world and you would be hard pressed to argue against that.
Offering panoramic views over the waters of the gulf and the Abu Dhabi Corniche, these luxury nests are a feast for the eyes whether you’re looking out of their floor to ceiling windows or within. For this list we’ve picked the Abu Dhabi suite. Accessible by private lift only, this masterpiece on the 48th and 49th floor of the hotel has its own five seater cinema, state-of-the-art spa complete with a sauna and Jacuzzi and a private gym.
To entertain your own guests and retinue, the suite comes with two separate bedrooms, (all equipped with their own powder rooms) and an impressive dining room area. Its rare to find such attention to detail and impeccable service to match, making this one of the best suites in the world right now.
You may have to be royalty to afford this suite’s price tag but at least you’ll be getting the service you deserve. The hotel’s Royal Suite is exactly what it says on the tin as it was once the residence of the Prince Phillip of Wurttemberg.
The opulent decor is exactly what you would expect an 18th century monarch to call home. There’s enough space to fit two sitting areas in here and the massive chandeliers and regal colors sell old world charm in spades. But don’t take our word for it, Lady Gaga, Brangelina and Richard Burton are all former guests and as far as we know, were all very happy campers.
The Terazza Rendentore suite comes with a 250 sqm rooftop terrace – a unique feature in space starved Venice – and a private rooftop pool. That’s all good and well, but the true wow factor (in our humble opinion) is the panoramic view of the city which is postcard-perfect from every angle.
Accessible via a private lift, the suite is not the hotel’s most grandiose but it’s probably the cosiest and most intimate and that’s great in our books.
Head there in July to catch the Redentore fireworks celebration while enjoying an al fresco dinner with the ones you love and be treated to a unique side of Venice which will stay with you forever.
One of the most famous suites in the world thanks to the movie “Pretty Woman”. Many of the movie’s scenes were shot in these plush interiors and even after the hotel’s multi million dollar renovation, it remains faithful to the original version.
Only minutes away from Rodeo Drive there’s plenty of pretty things to see and buy outside the hotel… if you’re not too busy recreating those movie scenes that is.
They say some things in life are priceless and the view The Peninsula Hong Kong’s Peninsula Suite offers is just that.
Sleek, chic, contemporary, sassy… insert any other adjective or superlative and you still won’t do this suite justice. Equipped with a grand piano, private cinema and gym you’ve got everything to keep you content, but if you do want to head out, a private Rolls Royce and chauffeur are on 24 hour call… now that’s the suite life.
