After two years of renovation work, the legendary Lanesborough hotel is back in business and ready for the 21’st century traveler.

Regulars will feel right at home as the hotel’s technological improvements and design fit seamlessly with the original Regency style of the hotel.

Crave hotel tablets are fitted in each of the Lanesborough’s 93 rooms and offer a range of services including electronic versions of multinational newspapers, the Crave’s guide to London and contact with the hotel’s 24 hour butler service. Unlimited music and movies on demand are available for in room entertainment and guests will have access to high speed fibre optic WiFi.

But don’t let the technological bells and whistles distract you from your surroundings.

Refurbished by the late Alberto Pinto, the renovated Lanesborough remains faithful to its original Regency style in all sections of the hotel and the result is stunning.

The changes aren’t all about the building and the tech, as chef Éric Fréchon and his protégé Florian Favario, will now be taking over the food and beverage operations of the hotel.

Éric Fréchon, the man behind Le Bristol Paris’ Michelin starred Epicure, is the ideal appointment as head of operations and his decision to appoint Florian Favario- with whom he’s been working with for the past 5 years- ensures diners at the Lanesborough’s Céleste restaurant, will enjoy a creative and modern approach to French cuisine, perfected by Favario during his time at Le Bristol Paris.

With its particular brand of old world charm and brand new technology, the Lanesborough, is ready to face off the competition posed by London’s recently opened luxury hotels. Though the competition is quite stiff, the prestige of this classic establishment cannot be doubted and they can definitely count us as returning guests.
