Fans of chocolate have a love hate relationship with the Claridge’s during Easter.

The hotel serves one of the best afternoon teas in London and with a staggering one tonne of quality chocolate consumed in the hotel every year, it’s definitely an address for sweet tooth’s. But this Easter, the hotel’s Head Pastry Chef, Kimberly Lin, will be creating 100 little dilemmas that’ll give chocolate lovers food for thought. Because no matter how weak you are to the temptation of cocoa, breaking into these beauties is cause for internal struggle.

These finely crafted eggs aren’t just about looks. Made from finest Valhorna dark milk and white chocolate, each one is filled with home-made chocolate quail eggs and nicely covered in bespoke black and white tin foil evoking the hotel’s iconic Art Deco lobby. The eggs are then wrapped in a black satin bow and packaged in an eau de nil colored box for an extra layer of luxury. It’s every bit as tasty as it looks and quite the dilemma indeed.

The unveiling of the Claridge’s Easter egg marks the beginning of Spring in the swinging city and the hotel will also mark the date with an afternoon tea specially adapted for Easter. It’s the perfect gift to indulge in or offer to the sweet tooth in your life and the themed afternoon tea is a great way to spend quality time with the family on this special date.

If you want to sink your teeth in one of these delights, you better be quick. The eggs are a limited edition and the Clardige’s only make 100 of them every year, so hurry up and get one before they sell out. We definitely are.
