The long wait for fans of the Hotel Eden in Rome is nearly over.
After more than a year spent under renovation, the hotel is set to be re-opened in April 2017 with fresh designs and a host of features to please its estranged regulars.
The Hotel Eden’s privileged position atop the Spanish Steps and its rich 125 year history, make it one of the city’s iconic figures, and an integral part of its cultural landscape. For regular guests and locals, the hotel’s absence has been felt.
But parent company, the Dorchester Collection, promises it was well worth the wait.
To make sure their new offering turns heads, The Dorchester Collection hired talented design duo, Partrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku (Hôtel Plazaa Athénée, Hôtel des Bergues) as well as Bruno Moinard from 4BI & associates. Each set of designers have worked on a specific part of the hotel: Moinard, the lobby, rooms, and suites, and for Jouin – Mankou, the restaurants, bar and spa.
Yes you read that right. For the first time in its history, the Hotel Eden, will offer a spa to its distinguished guests. Promising to be an oasis of calm in the middle of the city and with premium treatments on offer, the spa looks set to become one of the city’s best, and the distinguished Jouin – Manku designs make sure it looks the part too.
Other additions include a hidden Library Bar, an all day Brasserie on the upper floors of the hotel, and a total of 98 guest rooms with Roman inspired interiors.
The hotel’s opening is still a ways off, so to tide you over, we’ve included some of the concept art for the rooms below. Watch this space, because as soon as we get more information and updates on the Hotel Eden, you’ll be the first to know.
