MORE ON

You can celebrate the Lunar New Year in style at the Shangri-La Hotel Paris as from the 26th of January, with a meal at Paris’s only Chinese Michelin Star restaurant, Le Shang Palace.

Faithful to Chinese traditions, Chef Samuel Lee will prepare an eight-course gourmet menu which you can share with family and friends, and welcome the year of the rooster in one of Paris’s most idyllic settings for this occasion.

Enjoying Hong Kong-born Chef Samuel Lee’s delectable Cantonese cuisine is the ideal way to celebrate the New Year. In fact, after having a look at the proposed menu; it’s downright unmissable.

Keeping with traditions, the colorful Salmon Lo Hei will be served, along with creative gourmet dishes such as Wok – fried beef tenderloin in black truffle sauce, steamed blue lobster with garlic sauce and pan-fried chicken and Chinese cabbage dumpling among others to compose an eight-piece menu, a lucky number for the Chinese.

No Lunar New Year celebration is complete without a lion dance display to chase off evil spirits and bring joy and prosperity for the new year.

For the occasion, the Shangri – La Hotel Paris have commissioned one of France’s leading Kung – Fu schools, the Pak Mei de Lao Wei San, for a two-hour performance carried out to the sounds of tribal percussions.

This special menu will be available at Le Shang Palace every evening as from the 26th of January to the 6th of February. If you’re interested or want more details, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us and we’ll be happy to help you make a booking.
