Summer is wasted on those who stay indoors. So don’t be one of them.
Over the coming months, the Four Seasons Hotel Moscow, the Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane and the Four Seasons Hotel Milano, will be opening their terraces and bars so that you can soak in some in the sunshine while enjoying a glass of bubbly or a gourmet meal Al-fresco. If you’d like to know exactly what these hotels have planned, check out our description below.
Four Seasons Hotel Moscow
Locals and visitors alike agree, the Four Seasons’ Moskovsky Bar is the best watering hole in Moscow, but as for the reasons why, that’s a whole different story.
Some say it’s the bar’s location – the terrace gives on to the Kremlin, Mazenhnaya Square and Red Square – or the fact that it makes the best Moscow Mule you’ll ever put to your lips. Whatever it is, you’re doing yourself no favors if you miss out. Especially this summer.
From June 15 2017 – August 31 2017 the Moskovsky showcases the work of Instagram power couple Murad and Nataly Osmann, creators of the #FollowMeTo photography series and presents an exclusive cocktail series inspired by their work
To go with those cocktails, Chef Christian de Nadai’s specially designed menu combines flavors of the summer and the latest super food trend to create tasty and healthy options including Caesar salad served with kale and baby calamari and crab salad with spinach and yuzu and truffle oil. For the cherry on the cake, the city’s best DJ’s are there to keep you entertained up to 2.00 am closing time.
Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane
You’ll struggle to find a better place in Mayfair to soak in the sun than the Four Seasons’ hidden terrace.
Within this pristine space – surrounded by begonias, blue salvia, hydrangeas and other flowers that have no right to be in the middle of a concrete jungle – guests of the Four Seasons can escape the hustle and bustle of the city for some quiet time and al fresco dining and drinks.
In an exclusive collaboration for the summer, the terrace is transformed into the Secret Garden Veuve Clicquot Champagne Terrace and features a concept menu showcasing street food from around the world, and the colorful work of the Four Season’ Floral Designer Rosalind Ackerley.
The tapas style street food menu comes courtesy of Chef de Cuisine Eliano Crespi and is an eclectic mix packed with dishes as diverse as calamari alla Romana with homemade wasabi mayonnaise, paneer tikka, or chicken and beef skewers with Malaysian peanut sauce.
A curated Hennessy drinks menu along with the Secret Garden Spritz – the Four Seasons take on the Aperol Spritz – spice up the drinks options, and elegantly dressed staff with 1920’s flat caps make the Secret Garden Veuve Clicquot Champagne Terrace one of London’s hottest summer hangouts this year.
Four Seasons Hotel Milano
A day spent scouring Milan’s fashion district is tiring work.
For some well needed respite, you can always settle down in one of the street side cafés and order a latte, but in our opinion, a pit stop in the Four Seasons Hotel Milano‘ cloistered garden, is much better.
Specially for the summer months, the Four Seasons Hotel Milano’s garden plays host to Swing & Chill, a live music aperitif starting as from 7.00 pm every Thursday evening. Expect classic Italian style appetizers by Chef Vito Mollica, along with a selection of signature cocktails and Champagnes by Veuve Clicquot. If you’re into the atmosphere of a Milanese aperitivo, the crowd and vibe of the Four Seasons Hotel Milano, is among the best around.
