Ever since it’s opening in 1931, The Dorchester has been known to serve one of the finest afternoon teas in London. This summer, the Dorchester revamps this English tradition by offering the Ice Cream Champagne Afternoon Tea, where home made ice cream and Laurent-Perrier Champagne are combined with finger sandwiches,french pastries and homemade bread. Served in the relaxed setting of the hotel’s Promenade, this Champagne Afternoon Tea is one not to be missed.


Caviar and Salmon masterclass with Chef Henry Brosi

In 87 years of existence, the Dorchester has only had 7 executive Chef’s at the helm of its kitchens. The latest in line of this incredible legacy, is Henry Brossi, who’s been holding the spot since 1999. If you’ve ever wondered what it takes to have tenure in a competitive and high performance environment like a hotel kitchen, and learn a thing or two along the way, then the Dorchester’s Masterclasses is the best introduction.

An all day event, the masterclass starts with guests being introduced to Chef’s morning preparations, while they enjoy a Champagne breakfast from the Chef’s Table private dining room. The masterclass then begins, with an introduction of the ingredients that will be used to create a minimum of two recipes. The masterclass will then be followed by a 5 course meal shared with the Chef Henry Brossi himself, before receiving a signed masterclass booklet with a selection of recipes, a chef’s apron and a box of Henry Brosi’s selected handmade chocolates. Wine Dinners at The Grill at The Dorchester – Meet Chiara Boschis from Pira & Figli

For the Dorchester collection’s wine dinner series, wine producer Chiara Boschis from E.Pira & Figli will be discussing the prestigious company’s history, and engaging in a conversation over the finer points of winemaking at the Dorchester’s The Grill. Held on September 7th, guests can enjoy a canapé reception and four-course menu paired with the E.Pira & Figli wines while Boschis discusses her career and inspirations for making the best wine from Barola wine country.
