The 15 metre tall Christmas tree is decorated with 10 000 Swarovski crystals that sparkle under the lights. It’s such a stunning sight.

Do you think that Zurich has outdone herself with this exceptional tree? Wait till you see the Singing Christmas Tree at the Werdmühleplatz. Standing on a vertical podium shaped like a Christmas tree, local choirs entertain the crowds as they belt out popular Christmas carols. The energy is so infectious that you’ll probably sing along.

The show is excellent as well and features the legendary Radio City Rockettes; a renowned Newyorkese dance troupe.

Your stay in New York is incomplete if you don’t try ice-skating. The city has several skating rinks but you should try the Rink at Rockefeller Center. It’s best to go in the evening as you can admire the exceptional views of New York’s cityscape and during christmas time, it’s the massive glimmering Christmas tree that captures your attention. It’s a magical sight that delights both adults and children.
